"The Nutcracker" for the "La Scala"

"Vozrozhdenie" Theatre Workshops had the honour to work on a production of The Nutcracker for La Scala in Milan,  where it manufactured both the set and costumes for the production which premiered with great success.

The most famous Christmas ballet is not in the repertoire of "La Scala" since December 2006. Now it is back in an updated form - choreographer Nacho Duato moved the action to the beginning of the last century. "The Nutcracker" choreographed by Nacho Duato has already been presented one year ago at St. Petersburg's Mikhailovsky Theater (set design, as well as at La Scala, then owned by Frenchman Jerome Kaplan).
